AUDUBON CERTIFIED SANCTUARY

The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses (ACSP) is an award-winning education and certification program that helps golf courses protect the environment and preserve the natural heritage of the game of golf.

Achieving certification in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses (ACSP) is a significant accomplishment. Courses must meet minimum standards set forth by Audubon International in six categories: Environmental Planning, Wildlife and Habitat Management, Outreach and Education, Chemical Use Reduction and Safety, Water Conservation, and Water Quality Management.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A COOPERATIVE

We are proud to hold this designation, since there are only 984 in the nation who are certified. We have demonstrated our commitment to environmental stewardship by completing their multifaceted certification process thereby reducing water and chemical usage, increasing wildlife habitat areas, and more.
